The 18 LO-6-2A occurrence is located approximately 12 kilometres northeast of Ferriston Peak, 15 kilometres west of Tenakihi Peak, and about 81 kilometres northwest of the community of Germansen Landing.

The showing is underlain by Thane Creek suite diorite in the Early Jurassic to Early Cretaceous Hogem Plutonic Suite in Quesnel terrane. The Thane Creek suite is mostly diorite to quartz monzodiorite, with lesser hornblendite.

Mineralization is observed as 2 by 10 centimetre pyrite veins and disseminated chalcopyrite with iron rust staining in diorite. In 2018, a grab sample (18 LO-6-2A) yielded assay results of 3170 parts per million copper, 46 parts per billion gold, and 1.9 parts per million silver (Fieldwork 2018, page 48).

The showing was mapped by the British Columbia Geological Survey during a regional bedrock mapping program in the Hogem batholith in 2018.
